DIRECTOR'S Statement

As a Bible Teacher and Ordained minister, I have told faith-based stories for over twenty years. I sensed God's very specific call to get up on a higher platform (Isaiah 40:9) and create faith-based movies because nothing attracts attention or effects people and culture like films.

I wrote Conceivable based on my own true story, one that resonates with many and addresses issues from a faith-perspective that are central on the national and world stage today.

I saw a need for more faith-based stories that are told by women about women and are more multicultural. I also saw a need for upgrading the quality of Christian movies, both with scripts that are more compelling and theologically challenging and for films with greater cinematic creativity and higher production value.

Many barriers exist into filmmaking, especially relational ones and financial ones. I believe, however, God wants to break down those barriers for Christian filmmakers and audiences.
